Small Group Psilocybin Retreat

Prior to training as a Psilocybin Facilitator, Michelle enjoyed a successful international corporate career working primarily in Human Resources and Information Technology. For over 20 years, Michelle supported global teams through various change programs, from organizational restructures to implementing new process and technology systems, to standing up entirely new functions and teams. Through her work, she realized how difficult change is for most people and she enjoyed supporting others through their own life transitions, big and small. Living and working abroad while raising two children overseas provided an opportunity to work with individuals of all backgrounds, cultures & nationalities. She aims to bring this passion for diversity and personalized service to her facilitation practice. Michelle's own experience with psilocybin created a paradigm shift in how she saw herself, how she saw the world and how she related with others, resulting in positive changes to her life overall. She felt called to pivot and make one of the biggest changes in her career, becoming a licensed psilocybin facilitator. She is excited and humbled to serve others as they embark on their own healing journeys to improved mental health, wellness, and relationships.

Mary Jo began her career in the medical field at the age of 16 and later earned her cosmetology license, shaping beauty while holding the tender moments people don’t always say out loud. Over the past 15 years, her salon chair became more than a place for outward transformation; it evolved into a sanctuary. A space where laughter, grief, confessions, and breakthroughs were met with presence, gentleness, and care. Mary Jo’s own healing journey with childhood trauma and her deep curiosity about human psychology, emotional well-being, consciousness, and the larger questions of our reality drew her toward the healing and wellness field. This calling ultimately led her to complete Oregon State Psilocybin Facilitator training through the Clinical Cognitive Training Center. Raised by a parent struggling with addiction and navigating sexual trauma beginning at a young age, Mary Jo has devoted much of her personal healing work to self-parenting, tending the mother–daughter wound, sexual liberation, and unlearning patterns of self-abandonment. Psilocybin has played a meaningful and profound role in reshaping her relationship to trauma and in cultivating deeper connection—to herself, to the earth, and to the collective—reinforcing her belief that healing wisdom already lives within each of us. Mary Jo is especially passionate about supporting healing from sexual trauma, personal development, creative expansion, and end-of-life journeys. Her work is grounded in a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful, trauma-informed care for people of all identities and lived experiences. She walks beside clients every step of the way—through preparation, the journey itself, and the integration that follows, where real change takes root. Because insight is powerful, but embodiment is transformation.
