Integrating Body and Soul

About This Event

A GUEST PROGRAM

Our weekend together will be a unique blend of Shamanic energy healing and Somatic movement. Both modalities delve into the unconscious, or that which is unknown to us, and offer us ways to integrate body and soul. What we expose ourselves to, either by choice or default, has an impact on our system. Our challenge is to stay with ourselves in balance, in joy, and in line with who we are.

The somatic perspective is an experience of our physical body from within. Through gentle moving meditations we will learn a highly effective method to rebalance, stay with our selves, and find freedom from physical tension and pain.

Shamanic energy healing is an ancient technology. Through ceremony and ritual we come into right relationship with our selves, our world, and Spirit.

We will be curious, creative and playful explorers as we integrate body and soul through these two powerful modalities. We hope you’ll join us.

Menu/Cuisine

Ancient wisdom describes food as a source of prana, or life force. The Dharmakaya Center for Wellbeing was founded on the premise that nourishing food is integral to wellbeing. Our chefs are passionate about creating meals that are both flavorful and healthy. We use the freshest, most nutritious, least processed foods available; when possible our ingredients are organic and locally sourced.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in your accommodation fee. To promote good health, we serve delicious, varied, nutritious vegetarian food, with options at every meal. All our meals are served on a buffet, with ingredients listed next to each dish, enabling guests to avoid dairy, as well as glutens, nuts and other allergens.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To find peace and renewal while going through a huge change in my life. Empty nest and the end of a 27 year marriage all at once. Susan
