The 200-hour yoga teacher training course at Shambhavi Yoga, Nagarkot Nepal, is developed to deliver the complete theoretical and practical know-how about yoga. This course leads towards deepening of yoga practice and also imbibes skills so you can train and guide others as well-practiced yoga teachers.

Ashtanga yoga
The classic yoga style that helps integrate mind, body and spiritual balance is also one of the oldest and the most eminent traditional yoga styles. During the Ashtanga yoga classes, the students would learn to develop strength, stability, agility, and immense focus on a holistic level.

Yoga Nidra is a unique meditation technique which involves traveling through various stages while gradually falling into a rejuvenating and peaceful slumber while being awake at the moment. Also known as the yogic sleep, this is a highly essential spiritual awakening technique practiced to explore internal layers of a human soul while achieving intense relaxation and inner calm. During yoga Nidra sessions, you shall explore and stroll through the various stages for deep rejuvenation of the mind, body, and soul.

Study the science of body preparation through yogic cleansing methods before commencing yoga and meditation practice. An essential part of early morning tradition, the Shatkriyas or the Shatkarmas play a dominant role in mental, physical and spiritual purification and, in balancing the doshas. You shall undergo a study of the following six yogic works:

Each student will be staying with a Beautiful Family in Village. The ashram is designed in such a manner that one can enjoy the enchanting panoramic view of the mountain, surrounded by the lush green hills. Each student will get a comfortable room with an attached bathroom.

Arrival by airplane
Arrive at Tribhuvan International airport (KTM). When you arrive at this airport, you can go to the prepaid taxi counter airport to Shambhavi Yoga Academy You will reach within 1-hour.

It is about 20 kilometers from Kathmandu to Bastola, just a couple of kilometers before you reach Nagarkot. By private vehicle, it should take about an hour.

By bus, it is nearer two hours by the time you change buses. There are a few direct buses from Kathmandu to Nagarkot, but there are many more going to Bhaktapur where you can change for a local bus the remaining 15 minutes or so to Bastola Ganu.
