Bear Your Soul: Winter Hibernation

About This Event

Break the cold and lonely spell of winter! Bear Your Soul brings together men of all shapes, colors, ages, and sizes, to have fun and celebrate ourselves. Like most Bear events, we have great food, dance parties, hot tub, sauna, and opportunities for erotic connection, but we also focus on helping guys connect more deeply than they usually can. We create real community by offering workshops and activities that help you to Connect, Play, & Discover!

Some guys need more personal growth and spiritual experiences, some want to unleash hidden talents, while others may want to explore their erotic sides. That's why we provide a wide spectrum of experiences! You can do what's comfortable for you or you can challenge yourself! Our goal is to create a shame-free zone that fosters a sense of radical acceptance that helps us to embrace our full and true selves. We honor the body, mind, and spirit of all of our brothers, heart-centered interaction, authenticity, respect for ourselves and others, healthy sex positivity and inclusion.

We are planning a schedule of workshops and activities that will help us CONNECT, PLAY. and DISCOVER!  We will have new offerings, old favorites, small groups, delicious meals and that unique Bear Your Soul sense of community that so many have come to love!

If you are an alumni of Bear Your Soul, you can add an optional Alumni Reunion starting with dinner on Thursday January 16th for an additional $99. You can add it during registration!

STAY TUNED FOR A FULL SCHEDULE AND TEACHER LINEUP!

BEAR YOUR SOUL EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ALL MEN, INCLUDING OUR TRANS BROTHERS LIVING AND IDENTIFYING AS MALE

Menu/Cuisine

Meals are provided three times daily: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is usually served continental style, with assorted breads, bagels, and cold cereals available, along with a hot cereal, yogurt, a hot breakfast entree, and fresh fruit. For some retreats, the last day will feature light snacks in the early morning and a late morning brunch. Lunch and dinner are usually hot meals with fresh bread and salad available. We serve meat, usually in the form of beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and fish. A vegetarian option is also available at each meal; we ask that this be reserved for those who request vegetarian meals, as there is not enough of the vegetarian option prepared for everyone to eat.

Snacks such as cold cereals, fruits and nuts, along with coffee, assorted hot teas, chilled water, and iced tea, are available 24 hours a day in the dining room. Please note that we can not always accommodate special dietary requests for food allergies. If you have specific food allergies, we suggest you contact us ahead of time and bring some special food for yourself to supplement any food that we serve which you can eat. Refrigerator space can be provided for you if needed to store your food.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I teach yoga part time and am a mom of two toddlers full time. I love my life, but goodness do I need a break. My husband and I have been putting off our wedding ceremony for 4 years because life has gotten in the way. We haven't had a single night alone since our family has grown. I wouldn't change a thing about our lives now, but it would be so wonderful to remember what it's like to 'just be us.' Antrim
