About This Event

An 11-night yoga adventure based in Ubud, Bali. Each morning rise and practice flow yoga, breath-work and a short seated meditation. Enjoy breakfast poolside at our resort before we adventure out as a group to places like local rice fields, sacred temples, gorgeous beaches, waterfalls and monkey forests. Spend the afternoon receiving massage treatments at local spas, enjoying the shops of local craftsman, practicing yoga or taking Balinese dance classes. In the evening visit local nighttime markets for nibbles of native cuisine. Be sure to try jackfruit, the intense-smelling durian and nasi champur, a rice-based stir-fry, sure to be on the menu of every local restaurant. Finally, devour delicious Balinese dinner with our group or on your own. Consider this a yoga adventure (with a great group of friends and a home-base that is taken care of for you) rather than a strictly yoga-based retreat. Indulge your senses, expand your mind and fill your cup so you can return home refreshed and renewed.

Venue Highlights

Our hotel is located in the heart of Ubud, Bali. I have personally visited this venue during my scout for a retreat location. I found it to be gorgeous, tranquil, and top-quality as well conveniently location right in the center of all of Ubud so you will not need transportation within the city.

Room 09 – Dirk
This beautiful newly renovated room has a cream-coloured marble floor, bluewashed walls to mimic the sky, bird portraits, and cloud motifs running through the fabrics as a tribute to the Dutch ornithologist who was the inspiration behind the room.

The bedframe rests against a trademark Gayatri large mirror and decoration combination, in this case carving in dark wood, and the bathroom has a rustic cave feel with two different kinds of natural stone on the walls and a huge mirror as a relief feature.

The room has air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safety deposit box, and a private second floor balcony with a table and two chairs, from which one can enjoy the cool breeze and views of the raveen down to the small river nearby.

Room 10 – Luv & Kush

Room 10 is called Luv & Kush. They are the twin sons of Rama and Sita. The room is a Double Double Room, meaning there are two identical queen-size beds in the room, hence the twin name. The bathroom uses grey marble and green granite to create the kind of natural hues reminiscent of the caves they might have played in when they were growing up in the jungle. The chrome fittings in the bathroom give a masculine edge to the room, which is befitting of the boy twins and their love of wrestling, playing, and archery.

Room 11 -- Riddhi and Siddhi

Room 11 is a Double Double Room, meaning there are two identical queen-size beds in the room, hence the twin name. The bathroom is gorgeous with a large shower and natural light. This room is located on the first floor, steps away from the pool. The porch is outfitted with a large dining table and chairs, perfect for meals and tea.

Room 15 --Dastra and Nasatya

Room 15 is a Double Double Room, meaning there are two identical king-size beds in the room, hence the twin name. The four-poster beds are draped with a light mosquito netting that can be pulled completely around the bed at night for privacy and extra protection from mosquitos. A nice open-plan shower fills the bathroom - with a waterfall showerhead! This room is located on the second floor and does require one to climb a flight of stairs. There is a large outdoor veranda outfitted with lounge chairs.

Room 16 -- Kresna

Room 16 has a luxurious king size bed with mosquito-netting that can be pulled around the bed for extra privacy or protection from mosquitos. The room includes a gorgeous bathroom that includes a shower over the tub. The veranda has lovely seating upon which to rest and look over the pool as you breakfast.
