About the Retreat:

This is a seven day residential retreat on Osho Meditations. We will have six to seven sessions on meditation every day in total, 8-10 hours of meditation.

We would have a strict schedule on this retreat. There would be silence outside the meditation halls and digital detox throughout the retreat for seven days. There would be fasting of sense like ear plugs for ears and eye masks for eyes. We would have three vegetarian meals every day.

This retreat is designed to dive deeper into meditation to experience the no mind within a short period of time, for that intensity is required. The idea is to conserve the energy for more awareness and directing the energies to the higher possibilities of human potential.

There will be sessions on Osho Meditations, Mindfulness techniques for daily life, Zen Methods, Breath work, Sufi techniques.

About This Event

Human beings have many hidden potentials with in themselves. To uncover these hidden potential energy is needed. Energy is one of the most important factor for feeling delightful. Everyday we dissipate the energy by doing various unnecessary acts. In this retreat we will conserve the energy by digital detox and fasting of senses (except eating and drinking). Once the energy stops leaking it can then be shown direction to dive deeper within one self to go on a inner adventure.

This will be a unique opportunity to learn meditation in a very short period of time. We will spend 8-10 hours practicing different osho meditations, breath work, zen, meditation, sufism and technique based on Mindfulness.

The idea is to empower you and give you enough tools to live meditatively in day to day life.

Venue Highlights

Devarya Wellness, located in a coastal village in North Goa, overlooks the Morjim Beach. This beautiful beach stretch is also known as Turtle Beach after the endangered Olive Ridley sea turtles that nest on its shores during nesting season. A quiet and peaceful setting, Morjim with its lush green hills, clean beaches and the Chapora river running through it, is a popular destination with foreign travellers and expats.

Known for its serene atmosphere, the Morjim beach is a great setting for a yoga holiday. It has something for everyone, whether you are a soul-searcher who is looking for tranquility or someone looking to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation.

Morjim beach is a delight for nature lovers too. Apart from the Olive Ridley turtles, a variety of of flora and fauna can be spotted here. For those interested, dolphin sighting trips are offered by locals. You can even take a walk up the famous Chapora Fort for great views of the sandy beach and the green palms.

Live the yoga life here, doing your practice, going for a swim, meditating on the beach and enjoying spectacular sunsets as you soak in the sights and sounds of this beautiful place.

Getting there
Morjim is around 50 kms from the Goa International Airport in Dabolim, from where you can take a taxi or we can pre-book a taxi transfer for you. The nearest railway station is the Pernem Station, which is less than 20 kms away. There are frequent buses from the capital city of Panaji and the city of Mapusa to Morjim.

Menu/Cuisine

Our Chia Lounge prides itself on using organic and locally produced goods wherever possible. Our buffet and A La Carte menu's are designed for minimal food wastage whilst still ensuring our produce is fresh and organically grown.

Our yoga holiday, retreat and yoga training guests will be served delicious meals during their stay with us in our restaurant. We cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free diners. However, should you have another dietary requirement, no problem, just ask us.
