Venue Highlights

Although a magnet for tourists, Croatian coast retains its calmness and has a soft pace. It is truly soulful, contemplative and inspirational place to visit, a true nectar for many artists and sports adventurers, as well as for nature lovers and yogis.

Croatia has kept the spirit of the Mediterranean as it once was, a retreat place for wandering souls. Croatia is just a 2h flight away from any city in Europe.

Of all the Croatian islands, you have surely not heard of this one - Iz island. It is a local, hidden, self-effacing beauty, 45min boat ride from the magical city of Zadar, in the central Dalmatia.

Known mostly to sailors and nature lovers, Iz is one of many remote islands of Adriatic Sea, at the door of a national park Kornati.

Lodging:

Enjoy coming back in time, in serene surroundings, and experience the true joy of living remotely on the unspoiled island of Iz. Hotel, where we will stay, is clean and monk-like simple, with spacious rooms facing the sea.

The hotel has a beautiful outdoor yoga shala and 2 indoor shalas. With its relaxing scent of pine trees, and laidback atmosphere, as well as crystal clear waters, your process of learning will be well supported.

It is like a sanctuary, safe, innocent and tranquil, ideal for retreat and for studying and deepening, far from overcrowded beaches and distractions.

The average temperature in August and September is about 25°C so get ready for daily swimming just seconds away from your room!

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Reconnecting with myself after a very crazy few months with a new baby! Just having that feeling of being grounded again. But also having an opportunity to connect with new amazing people. Getting exposed and Inspired by new (to me) yoga instructors (and community). Being in the presence of real, authentic and raw emotion (the whole spectrum).. So many reasons! Alyson
