About This Event
MEMORIES THAT HEAL
We invite you to the Second Retreat at Killawasi, Memories that Heal. This retreat is open to men and women who are looking for balance and healing within their body, mind and spirit.
The retreat will be held on December 21 and 22 and will revolve around closing cycles and starting the New Year with fresh energies. It will feature workshops in Family Constellations and Meditative Deep Breathing along with a Peyote Ceremony and a sacred Temazcal.
Family Constellations is a healing treatment that helps us work emotions, feelings and blockages that are energetically connected to our path through family inheritances. By making ourselves aware of these sometimes hidden dynamics, we can break free of the ones that no longer serve us. This allows peace, love and compassion to follow freely in our daily lives. Tatiana Dávila will be leading the workshop. She possesses years of specialization with this type of therapy and will help you turn your past into a source of strength.
Breathing is a fundamental tool for balance and instrumental for all healing. Following the family constellations we will do a Meditative Deep Breathing workshop focused on conscious breathing. This workshop helps us integrate the experiences of the constellations, relax and prepare for the Ceremony.
A Peyote Ceremony will be held at night that will allow us to see more clearly our essence and thus connect with our purest and most sacred being.
To close the retreat we will enter the sacred Temazcal ritual to purify our body and help promote all the work done during the course of the last two days.
During the retreat we will provide you with the proper food nourishment. However it is important that five days prior to the retreat you maintain a proper ceremony diet. This includes eliminating sugary and alcoholic beverages, sugar itself, processed foods, meats and all types of drugs. The diet before the retreat is critical for a proper connection to the ancestral medicine during the ceremony.
