Neuroscience, Yoga, and Mindfulness – 5-Day Retreat: How Yoga Heals

About This Event

Yoga and mindfulness practices can have a positive impact on our neurobiology and our neural pathways. This retreat will focus on strategies for healing the body and mind through Yoga and mindfulness techniques. Dr. Mala will introduce you to powerful concepts and practices that she uses with her clients in her private practice.

Neuroscience shows that you can actually change your brain patterns—and therefore change your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors—which can promote healing in your system.

Researchers are now able to understand how Yoga and mindfulness practices can help us to heal, restore vibrancy, and increase resiliency.  Over the last twenty years, research has proven that Yoga and mindfulness techniques can increase empathy, compassion, and optimism, and can significantly reduce negative emotions such as chronic stress, anxiety, and depression.

In this mindfulness retreat, you’ll explore:

Scientific ways you can rewire the brain, releasing old patterns and introducing new, healing energy

Powerful hands-on healing methods designed to help with emotional balance through their positive impact on anxiety, depression,

ddictions, anger, stress, and other emotional and mental issues

Established tools for helping with physical healing issues

These ideas and tools are on the cutting edge of neuroscience and therapy.  Come learn about this fascinating new field and discover what neuroscience, Yoga, and mindfulness have to offer you.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is to find some very much needed solace away from the stress of raising 4 children, working (as a dietitian) and trying to get my private nutrition counseling practice launched. I am a registered yoga instructor and have practiced for over 10 yrs, and have always dreamed of taking a yoga retreat just for my own inner well being. Linda
