Loving Self: Caregivers Retreat Weekend

About This Event

Being a primary caregiver for a loved one can be an all-consuming and sometimes overwhelming experience. It can lead to feelings of isolation, exhaustion and feeling disconnected from ourselves outside of our caregiving role.

This special weekend retreat was developed for family caregivers to allow for the chance to relax, rejuvenate and connect with other caregivers in a beautiful setting of Naramata. Participants are encouraged to participate in as many or as little activities as they would like, with multiple options available.

      Family Reunion 2018.

Our family from far and wide, had a reunion the second week of July 2018 at the Naramata Centre at Naramata BC with some of us camping and the rest of us in the motel style accommodations. We all had a great experience and a good time in an ideal setting! The staff and the accommodations were great! We plan to go back again.

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
