Nikki grew up just outside Toronto, Canada and currently lives nestled amongst the Andes in the Sacred Valley of Peru. As a teacher dedicated to working with people with special needs and at-risk youth, she has devoted her life to being a support to others. Coming from a background of addiction and depression, she was called to Peru in 2018 to start working with her teachers Bernard Kashagen and Chase Moore for a deep dive into her healing. Wanting others to experience the grace of the medicine as she has, she offers a safe space of presence and love, weaving in various mind, body, and energetic practices. She is a balance of grit and softness, embodying permission for each guest to explore their unique experience with the medicine. With deep reverence for the magic that unfolds in ceremony and thereafter, she meets each individual where they’re at. Chase Moore, a Tennessee native, is an experienced Huachumero trained in the indigenous San Pedro medicine tradition by his long time teacher, Bernhard Karshagen. He’s a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has been teaching for over a decade.
Chase has dedicated over 8 years to working exclusively with the master plant of San Pedro. He has completed extensive diets with San Pedro and has also held diets for others wanting to deepen and strengthen their connection with the medicine.
As a humble medicine carrier of the sacred plant San Pedro, Chase embodies the essence of kindness, humor, and therapeutic presence. Chase holds a prayer that each individual that comes to this work is empowered to step into the most authentic version of themself, using the wisdom of the plant, along with his gentle guidance. Kimberly is the co-founder of Ananda Lodge Costa Rica and a certified somatic trauma-informed medicine facilitator and integration guide. As an empathic medicine woman, Kimberly brings over 10 years of personal coaching and working with plant medicine.
Experiencing the depths of corporate burnout, she turned to ancient healing traditions and plant medicine for soul reconnection and transformation.
Guided by indigenous wisdom, she learned to listen to nature’s whispers and harness its healing energies. As the founder of Ananda Lodge Costa Rica, Kimberly continues to walk the path of a humble servant, providing one-to-one coaching, support, and guidance through plant medicine journeys.
In addition to her training in trauma-informed care, she is also a certified sound healing therapist, and herbalist in training. On her path she has received mentorship from Atira Tan, Kat Courtney, Daniela Riojas, and Erika Buenaflor. With deep reverence for the Shipibo-Konibo tribe, she continues to apprentice in ayahuasca shamanism and facilitation.

I have been in a spiritual and healing journey since 2012. I’ve been through multiple yoga teacher trainings, and have spent years in spaces with facilitators. I am being honest when I say I have never been so comfortable in the presence of a teacher as I am with Kimberly. She embodies somatic awareness and practices, demonstrates great reverence for indigenous practices and weaves together scientific evidence with an ancient philosophies in such a way that everything makes complete sense. I am fortunate enough to be working through a three month immersion with her online as well as I attended a one week integrative somatic experience that allowed me to explore what the nervous system can feel like when it’s not in the state of flight or fight. From the moment I stepped onto the land at Ananda Lodge, I felt welcomed. The warmth began at the gate — being greeted with kindness, having my luggage carried in — and it continued in every small detail of the experience. During my stay, I shared this journey with three incredible women, and together we were supported by the most compassionate and attentive team I could have imagined. Our host, Kim, carries a depth of care that is rare. The level of presence and genuine support she offers is something I will never forget - true compassion. Throughout the ceremonies, I felt protected and guided in a way that allowed me to go deeper than I thought possible.
The Shipibo maestra’s icaros were powerful beyond words — ancestral, precise, and deeply moving. And Mihao, whose knowledge of plant medicine is clearly a life path and devotion, brought a beautiful balance to the space. He is not only a gifted musician, but a multidimensional medicine man whose presence feels steady, wise, and grounded. The way he holds the masculine within ceremony created a container that felt complete and safe.
The second ceremony was the most challenging for me — physically and emotionally — yet even in its intensity, I felt supported at every step. Without the care and attentiveness of the team, I don’t know if I could have navigated it the way I did. That support made all the difference.
The food, prepared with such respect for the dieta, was nourishing, abundant, and lovingly made. Every meal felt intentional, fresh, and aligned with the process we were in. We were truly cared for like queens.

Kim and Mihau shaped a space of safety, intention, and reverence that allowed me to travel through time and possibility - and land in new beliefs. They were deeply attuned and present, and we always felt supported and seen. Their devotion to the medicine is not a role, it is a lifestyle.
