LISTENING IN COMMUNITY: Developing meditative capacities in relationship

About This Event

Discover how our capacity for inquiry deepens when we meditate together in dialogue. Here we taste the energy and joy born at the intersection of interpersonal meditation and deep silence.

Insight Dialogue is an interpersonal meditation practice that brings the mindfulness and tranquility of traditional silent meditation into our experience with others.

In this introductory workshop, we will explore the six meditation guidelines of Insight Dialogue. The program will include periods of silent meditation, meditating in dialogue with one another and group discussion.

Previous meditation experience is recommended, but not required.

Other than during structured dialogue practice, the workshop will be held in Noble Silence.

No registration is required. Please plan to attend either the Friday evening or both Friday and Saturday sessions.

There is no fee for this offering. The Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation has generously offered their space for the program. We invite participants to offer dana (freewill donation) to support the facility and the teachers in this circle of generosity.
