This intensive program will take place on weekdays only. Students will have weekends free to explore, rest, and practice. Upon completion of this training, you are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200 teacher.

This 200 hour training prepares you to be an authentic and heart-centered yoga teacher, offering compassionate and accessible vinyasa classes for all levels of students. With a focus on alignment, intention, sequencing, and assisting, Light the Path (LTP) graduates leave trainings prepared to teach dynamic and accessible vinyasa classes for all levels of students.

Vigorous morning yoga intensives guide you deeper into your own practice and afternoon instructional sessions cover an extensive yoga teacher curriculum, including cueing, sequencing, hands-on assists, working with injuries, demonstration techniques, vocal presence, yoga philosophy and history, the business of yoga, ethics, and anatomy.

Over the course of 20 days, you will learn how to:

=Inspire students by teaching from your own heart’s wisdom

=Be emotionally intelligent and present with your students

=Effectively sequence for, and safely adjust, an all-levels class

=Incorporate themes and intentions into your teaching and practice

=Cue and instruct so your students stay present in their practice

=Feel confident working with common conditions and injuries

=Create a supportive and caring environment in your classes

Lighting the Path 2oohr Teacher Training is a comprehensive program for students wanting to become a certified Lighting the Path yoga teacher, or general yoga practitioners seeking an advanced studies yoga program to take them deeper into their practice and understanding of yoga. The training has two main components: ceremony and asana practice in the morning, and teaching skills instruction sessions in the afternoon.

What's Included

  • 20 days of high quality instruction, inclusive of morning intensives and afternoon teaching sessions. Weekends free for Bali adventures, rest, study and being in community with other trainees. Course materials included.

What's Not Included

Venue Highlights

The Yoga Barn is located in the heart of Ubud, Bali's cultural hub. It is Southeast Asia's full service yoga studio and holistic healing retreat center. Launched in 2007, The Yoga Barn's buildings have an indigenous Balinese feel to them. Coupled with a spiritual vibe, The Yoga Barn is at once earthy and rustic, relaxing, friendly and unpretentious. As a center dedicated to healing and renewal, The Yoga Barn provides a lush and inspiring environment for the nourishment of body, mind and soul.

As a retreat center, The Yoga Barn has on-site accommodation at the Guest House and The Nest. The single, double and dorm rooms offer calm, quiet and convenient access to the entire Yoga Barn property. The Garden Kafe has a fabulous healthy menu (stocked by their own organic farm) and the Juice Bar serves cold-pressed healthy elixirs made fresh on the property each day.

The Yoga Barn has on-site accommodation at the Guest House and The Nest. The single, double and dorm rooms offer calm, quiet and convenient access to the entire Yoga Barn property.

The Guest House

Located at the Jln Tebesaya entrance of The Yoga Barn, The Guest House is calm and quiet. Great for individuals, friends sharing rooms or groups on retreat, it has 9 private double rooms and one dorm room with 4 beds, all benefiting from a comfortable atmosphere, swimming pool and friendly, personal service.

The Yoga Barn - Retreat Center

The Guest House Room Types & Descriptions:
Standard Room - Pool Access: Private room with 2 single beds. A spacious and private bathroom, with shower & sink. (Beds can be pushed together to form a double bed.).
Deluxe Room - Pool Access: Private room with 2 single beds. A large, private bathroom with bathtub/shower combo and double sinks. (Beds can be pushed together to form a double bed.).
Women’s Dorm-Share Bunk Room - Pool Access: Shared room "dormitory" style, with 4 single bunk beds. Large en-suite bathroom, shared with other occupants of the dorm room. (All-female occupancy only. The dorm is not co-ed.). Important Note: The Dorm Room is not available to any guest who is joining the 3-Day Cleanse or the 7,9, & 10 Day Detox Retreat.

The Nest

The Nest is their newest accommodation, tucked away in a lushly gardened area of The Yoga Barn, it offers boutique hospitality in the heart of Ubud. The rooms are inspired by the arches of India and the textiles of Indonesia, with an earthy, bohemian vibe perfect for relaxing, reading, reflecting and sleeping among the tree tops of Bali. Step out and wander through The Yoga Barn property and gardens or tuck in and enjoy the lofty ceilings and spectacular views from your room.

The Yoga Barn - Nest

The Nest Room Types & Descriptions:
Standard Room Twin: Private room with 2 single beds. Private bathroom, with shower & sink. (Beds can be pushed together to form a double bed.)
Standard Room Double Private room with a double bed and windows running floor-to-ceiling on two walls. Private bathroom, with shower & sink.
Women’s Dorm-Share Bunk Room: Shared room "dormitory" style, with 5 single bunk beds. En-suite bathroom, shared with other occupants of the dorm room. (All-female occupancy only. Menu/Cuisine

Food for the soul should be cooked from the heart. The Yoga Barn’s Garden Kafe is one of the all original healthy eating, raw, vegan, vegetarian and Ayurvedic cafés in Ubud. Open for over a decade its menu has been an influence on the growing ‘yoga lifestyle’ food scene in Ubud. Set in the middle of The Yoga Barn oasis, this tranquil open-air café will feast your eyes on the lushness of green expanse in view. Overlooking the tropical treetops and gardens below, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh young coconut, slow down and unwind, and to let your latest experiences seep in.

Directions

Fly into Ngurah Rai International airport. Travel from airport to Ubud takes about one hour, and costs approx 300.000 rupiah ( about US$30). There is a Taxi Stand immediately to the right as you exit the airport luggage claim. Book a cab and they will give you a voucher. The Yoga Barn is nestled between Jln Hanoman/Pengoseken and Jln Tebesaya, Ubud. There is a small parking lot on the Pengoseken side and a larger lot for cars on the Tebesaya side.

50% deposit refund for cancellation 30-59 days before event.
0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-29 days before event.
The remaining balance (total price minus deposit) is due upon arrival.
