About This Event

Explore ancestral patterns through guided processes, plant medicine, creativity, and direct experience with ancient culture. Our 7-day journey is meant to be a deep dive into the world of patterns. Patterns can be seen as energies that either free us our constrict us. Patterns like concentric circles start at a central point where we stand as individuals. These expand to our families, ancestors, our culture and then the world. During our journey, we will explore these patterns to better understand them as energy, giving us the choice to nurture or release the ones that no longer serve our healthiest SELF.

During this 7 day all-inclusive journey you will explore your life patterns through:

*Trance guided experiences that allow you to go into subconscious places calling for healing

*Experience heart-opening cacao ceremony

*One psychedelic plant medicine ceremony to open deeper portals

*Talking circle and individual consultation as requested.

*Participate in a 6 day Alebrijes workshop with traditional masters of this craft.

Alebrijes, or tonas, are spirit animals in the Mexican tradition created in the town of San Martin, just south of Oaxaca city. At the Alegrijes workshop you will learn about your spirit animal, learn from master craftspersons the traditional painting process using earth-based paints, and the meaning of symbols unique to Oaxacan culture. You will paint your own totem animal with your personal patterns/symbols that express and inspire you. NOTE: no previous art training is needed. Symbolic language is available to all, just waiting to be accessed and expressed on your own spirit animal.

You will be provided a sculpted animal made of copal wood as your canvas.

*We will take a half-day excursion to the beautiful and inspiring site, Monte Alban, a great ceremonial center just outside of Oaxaca city.

*Our second excursion will be to Hierva Agua. It is a natural hot spring, with a petrified waterfall set in the mountains.

* This Retreat is in partnership with a therapist, and you will be given the opportunity for two follow up therapy sessions via skype in the months following the retreat. Wellness that lasts.

We believe in the betterment of the well through plant medicine, shared conversation and western psychology. By supporting you through your process, not just at the retreat, we develop relationships that last and healing that changes your life.
