About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Welcome to Odyssey's Meditation and Psilocybin Retreat, the first of its kind in the world!*

This retreat is an immersive, all-inclusive 6-day experience designed to maximize the benefits of two psilocybin journeys combined with meditation. This is not a psilocybin retreat with some meditation: it is a modern meditation retreat combined with guided psilocybin experiences.

Research has shown that psilocybin increases meditation depth and produces larger positive changes (compared to a placebo) even four months after the journey. Similarly, meditation seems to enhance the positive effects of psilocybin and counteract possible distressing effects (you can read about the study in the prestigious scientific journal Nature).

Ideal candidates are those who have experience with both meditation and psychedelics and would like to enhance their practice by combining the two. This retreat is not intended for those specifically looking to address mental health issues.

The Journey Was Incredible. The Support Made It Meaningful.
The journey itself was incredible. The visuals and emotions that I experienced were intense and enlightening. I’ll forever be changed by the experience. I believe the guided nature of the whole experience, not just the journey, made a big difference in the meaning I received from it. The calls with the facilitators and other group members leading up to the retreat helped shape my intention and outlook. Then I felt very supported by the facilitators throughout the retreat. The other group members played a big part of my journey, and I appreciated the collective wisdom we shared during the integration days after the journey. The guidance from the facilitators was essential. They definitely had a positive impact on my experience. And the gorgeous retreat house in Bend was the perfect place for integration. Fully recommended!

A Gift That Keeps on Giving
It was an incredible and so meaningful experience. Helpful in ways I didn’t even know it could be. A gift that keeps on giving. I loved the facilitators because of the level of support they provided during the entire experience. I loved the group because it was very inspiring being around others who were also trying to better themselves. I loved the preparation process because it helped me get into the right headspace. And I loved the post-retreat integration sessions because it’s helping as I navigate going back to the day to day of life. Everything was great! Odyssey provides with an opportunity to dig into past trauma in a very supportive, novel way. I don’t have any recommendations or improvements to share.
