Connect with like-minded people, nature and find peace in the beautiful wine country of Portugal. Practice yoga overlooking the Douro Valley offering Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra styles. Free time to enjoy all the amenities of your luxury accommodations, including a heated indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, fitness center, stunning vistas, and the Douro river, walking distance from the property. Optional daily meditations include guided visualizations, walking meditation, and even a wine meditation! Through yoga, mindfulness, and journaling, group members will set an intention for areas of their lives they wish to revitalize and transform.

Venue Highlights

This private villa boasts stunning views of the Douro River and surrounding valley. Peaceful, remote, with modern amenities. It is 50 minutes away from Porto, a charming old-world city, lined with cobblestone streets, beautiful plazas, port lodges, and historic architecture lined with colorful tiles or “azulejos.” Also about 50 minutes from Peso de Regua, a town known for its Port wines, wine tours, historic train, and beautiful country vistas and Guimaraes a historic town known for the medieval castle of Guimaraes with Gothic architecture.

Breakfast includes a variety of fresh-baked bread, pastries such as Pao de Lo, butter, jam, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruits, nuts, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice.

Lunches and dinners at the villa are generally served hot including a soup or salad, typical Portuguese entree, dessert, and coffee or tea. An example of a typical meal would be Caldo Verde soup (made with kale, potato, and Chorizo sausage), bacalhau assado (salted cod with roasted potatoes in olive oil, salad, pasteis de nata (a custard tarte) served with coffee or tea. Lunch and dinner entrees may vary and vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and Pescatarian meal options can be prepared with advance notice.


The closest airport is the Porto airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport) which is about 50min to 1 hr drive or taxi ride from the airport to the villa. There is an airport shuttle available that you can schedule to pick you up at the airport. If you decide to rent a car, please be advised that there are rental cars that are automatic in stock, and you are advised to rent a GPS navigation system.
