This Mind Body Balance Retreat is catered for a min of 4 people and max of 8 people to ensure you have sufficient space and quiet time during your stay. We also practice Noble Silence and Digital Unplug Detox each day so you will be able to reserve all your time and energy to focus on yourself.

Offer yourself a time away from other’s expectations, judgements and voices. In this 3D2N Mind Body Balance Retreat, we support you with practical tools based on Ayurveda, Ayurveda Yoga Therapy, Nature 5 Elements, Meditation and easy Yoga Movements to begin your journey within.

From April’s first class, I knew I stumbled upon a teacher that is quite a rarity- April teaches with loving kindness.What draws me most is that she weaves in a spirit of love, acceptance & quiet into her lessons.

Venue Highlights

Mind Body Balance Retreat is honoured to create this special retreat with Origin Yoga and Wellness Retreat Center is a gem located in Baishawan (White Sand Bay), 30 mins drive outside Taipei City in Taiwan.

The Center is situated on the first and second floor of an abandoned residential complex, while the building may appears rough and rustic on the exterior, the interior is thoughtfully renovated with all the comforts of home plus a breathtaking ocean view. Inner beauty shines the brightest, come experience Origin Yoga & Wellness in this unique and secluded setting for an unforgettable yoga retreat.

Baishawan is home to the most beautiful beaches in northern Taiwan, the coastal region is complete with natural hot springs, lush green forests, mountain temples, traditional farms, Sakura (cherry tree) plantations, cycling trails, surfing and other water activities. It is the perfect destination for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Menu/Cuisine

We make healthy and delicious vegetarian food that is good for humans, animals, and our planet. Our menu is heavily based on Taiwanese cuisine. We use seasonal, locally sourced, organic and minimally processed whole foods wherever possible. Our produce is hand selected from farmers we know and partners we trust to guarantee quality and freshness. Chef Edward is passionate about food; he prepares all meals with love to inspire and nourish the soul. We take pride in making everything from scratch and practice the art of root to stalk cooking. All meals are thoughtfully designed to provide a balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat, and a complete array of vitamins and minerals. We accommodate vegan and gluten-free diets, and other minor food allergies if given 1 week's notice. Please specify your request and we will do our best to meet your needs! Please note our kitchen prepares meals containing nuts, onion, garlic, and ginger. We cannot guarantee 100% that traces of these items will not be in the foods. Filtered water, tea, coffee are available for your enjoyment throughout the retreat.

Directions

By taxi/ Uber from the airport to the venue will be around 1hour, which is the easiest way. We can arrange airport transfer with a fee for you.
