Crafting your Heart Story (Kerr Mesner) - ONLINE

Ages: 12+

Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

This workshop gives an opportunity to explore and express our own “heart story”—that is, the stories that emerge from our deep places of body, mind, heart, and spirit. We will explore a range of accessible creative practices (written and visual journaling, collage, drama, poetry, and prose), and use these to give voice to our heart stories to share with each other. Participants will leave this workshop with experiences of several accessible arts based approaches to storytelling, experiences of community story-sharing, and with an artistic rendering of their own heart story, . Open to everyone with no creative experience, lots of experience, and everyone in between!

Free Your Authentic Voice through Singing Meditation & Sound Healing

Release the pressure to be perfect, and experience the joyous alignment of body, breath, heart, soul, sound and spirit. In this virtual circle, we will explore beautiful & blissful ways to empower your voice and self-expression.

You will be gently guided to discover your inner music through contemplative vocal practices such as toning, inspiring songs and chants, sounding the chakras, and playful improvisations. You will also be invited to integrate and share your experiences through creative self-reflection.

Music is a powerful healing force that helps us connect more deeply with each other, with ourselves, with the earth and with the source of inspiration. Singing enriches our lives in many ways, increasing our vitality, wellbeing, health and happiness. Harmony, tone and rhythm are universal expressions of the human spirit, and serve as beautiful pathways to more fun, joy, mindfulness and self-compassion.

Basking in Words: Poetry for a Summer Morning

Basking indeed! This course was a week of soul satisfying poetry reading and enriching conversation skillfully facilitated by Tim Scorer. I laughed, cried, learned, and was moved by the power of words from a diversity of poets and participants. I felt connected to Naramata Centre throughout the week and to my creative centre. I didn't want the course to end. So grateful!

      Family Reunion 2018.

Our family from far and wide, had a reunion the second week of July 2018 at the Naramata Centre at Naramata BC with some of us camping and the rest of us in the motel style accommodations. We all had a great experience and a good time in an ideal setting! The staff and the accommodations were great! We plan to go back again.
