About This Event
This gathering is for you if you would like to empower yourself through traditional folk plantcraft and connect to the Green Witch within.
This programme is designed to re-ignite your inner healer as you will be fully immersing yourself in nature and communing with the plants on this 3 day intensive.
We will gather in circle each sunrise and sunset, checking in and dropping into our bodies. A coming home to ourselves with meditation, singing, drumming and movement.
Meal times are a communal affair with everyone helping out as we create wild foraged and home grown meals together. Our days will be filled with nature walks, identifying plants, harvesting and creating herbal remedies.
On this intensive you will gain a depth of understanding in the healing arts that will serve you for the rest of your life. Carly offers this in-depth immersion with a sense of humour, and a simple approach to herbology and believes the connection between plants and people is the bridge to becoming our own healers if we quiet the mind and listen to what the plant spirits have to say. This course will support you on your journey of self-discovery, igniting some magic and meaning into your life. You will leave with the basic skills of folk herbalism, empowering you with the knowledge to identify, harvest sustainably and make your own simple remedies and aromatics at home.

Venue HighlightsThe Wild Love is run from the gorgeous Guinevere Guest Farm, which is located a 90-minute drive from the tourist hot spot of Cape Town. The farmhouse is situated on 95ha of private land nestled amongst indigenous fynbos and lends itself to the ideal space in which one can immerse in nature and the tranquility of the abundant fynbos and bird life.
There is a large swimming lake for those hot summer months, a pool on the upper level and a river in springtime.
A short walk away is a gorgeous waterfall and rock pools to cool off in or watch the sunrise over the valley.
The farm is also a rescue sanctuary with cows, pigs, chickens, and donkeys- all rescued and given a second chance to live out their days with us.
80% of the farm is pure and untouched fynbos, which is the most diverse and richest plant biome in the world.
There is a sweat lodge and yoga studio on the property
