Refuge Retreat by the Pond

About This Event

Refuge Retreat in a small hut by the pond

The cabin is equipped with a bed, a desk, a small lamp, minimal power supply, a water tank to fill up - and plenty of peace and quiet and time in the middle of our beautiful garden. You are about 200 m away from the main house. Your bathroom would also be in the main house. We provide you with two meals a day and take-aways for the evening.

The hut is built with existing materials at short notice. So please do not expect a very comfortable accommodation! In the summer months, however, it is a wonderful place for a meditative time close to nature. You are invited - depending on the Corona rules that apply to you - to meditate either in the meditation hall or in an anteroom.

Costs:

€60 per day, incl. food

Minimum stay: 5 days

Venue Highlights

The Zen Center is located in the Southern Black Forest, right in the corner between France, Switzerland, and Germany. It is a beautiful area to hike in the summer and a renowned area for cross-county skying in the winter. On a sunny day, you can get a view of the Swiss Alps. Freiburg (Germany) is about one hour drive North of us, Basel (Switzerland) about one hour South, and Strasbourg (France) about one hour West.
