About This Event

Check in, clear out, deepen, soften, invoke and enliven.

We will spend the weekend moving through a platter of nourishing practices for the subtle, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our beings. Participants can look forward to enjoying yoga infused with breath work, self massage, acupressure and energy medicine, intuitive chakra meditation, a gratitude walk in nature, writing practices and qi gong with expressive moment to music.

This retreat is designed to give participants a fantastic energetic make-over, while leaving them with a variety of tools to take home and implement their own daily practice with.

Participants are responsible for their own meals.

Friday

Check in and Settle in

7:30 PM Welcome & Introduction

Setting the Stage for “Greeting the day”

Self Massage and Stretch, Gratitude pages.

Saturday

6:45 - Sunrise - Greeting the day. (Optional Solo Practice)

8:00 - Silent practice. Morning pages and affirmations. Breakfast.

9:45 - Self Massage, Pranayama, Yoga

12:00 - Lunch Break

1:30 - Energy Medicine, Toning and Sounding, Gratitude Walk, Community Connection Time

5:30 - Supper Break

6:45 - Sunset

7:00 - Chakra Talk, Letting Go, Gratitude Pages, Sharing time

Sunday

6:45 Sunrise - Greet the day Solo Practice, Greet the day.

8:00 Silent practice. Morning pages and affirmations.

9:30 Moving to music, Qi gong and energy medicine.

11:00 De-briefing, Taking practice Home.

Closing circle.

12:30 Lunch & Packing up.

Accommodations: 

Participants will be assigned a room in Orchard Court upon registering.

A shared kitchen is available, however, guests are required to sanitize before and after use and are responsible for their own safety.

COVID-19 Policy:  

Masks will be required when gathering indoors

Hand sanitizer must be used upon entry of buildings

Everyone must maintain 6ft social distancing

We are abiding by all cleaning guidelines provided by Interior Health.

Surface sanitizers are placed in prominent locations throughout the Centre property.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own hygiene products (e.g., hand sanitizer). Guests also need to take personal responsibility for their own safety, refraining from touching surfaces unnecessarily and washing hands or using hand sanitizer frequently. If you are sick, please stay home and visit another time.

We have implemented a no cash policy.

Coin laundry service will not be available.

We ask that all guests & participants do their part to keep Centre staff, operators, volunteers and guests safe.


Cancellation Policy

100% deposit refund for cancellation 30+ days before event.
50% deposit refund for cancellation 15-29 days before event.
0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-14 days before event.
The remaining balance (total price minus deposit) is due upon arrival.

      Basking in Words: Poetry for a Summer Morning

    Basking indeed! This course was a week of soul satisfying poetry reading and enriching conversation skillfully facilitated by Tim Scorer. I laughed, cried, learned, and was moved by the power of words from a diversity of poets and participants. I felt connected to Naramata Centre throughout the week and to my creative centre. I didn't want the course to end. So grateful!

      Family Reunion 2018.

    Our family from far and wide, had a reunion the second week of July 2018 at the Naramata Centre at Naramata BC with some of us camping and the rest of us in the motel style accommodations. We all had a great experience and a good time in an ideal setting! The staff and the accommodations were great! We plan to go back again.
