Play and Freedom: A Retreat in Watercolors

About This Event

As children, we all start drawing and painting by making marks of some kind to help describe and discover the world. If we can nurture play and freedom, our relationship with the medium can reveal unexpected nuances and connections, and can initiate beauty. In this retreat, we will explore how we can work with watercolors natural qualities and how this mirrors our own nature. Materials will be provided, but if you have a favorite brush or colors, you are invited to bring those.
