About us

mind|body|fitness yoga is planning the next studio retreat for May of 2017. Join us for a mindfulness experience in one of the most beautiful places in the world – the Tuscany region of Italy. It will be a week of daily meditation and yoga practices and plenty of time for exploring the “sweet life of pleasure and simple luxury” in the local village of Cortona or relaxing by the pool at our villa.

Each day will begin with a guided meditation session and a morning vinyasa class to prepare you for the activities or explorations of the day. We will have the day to take advantage of relaxing down time or exploration of the local culture.  The retreat will offer a couple of group activities and there will be other optional experiences to explore as well – Cooking Lessons, Tours of the local culture, bike rentals, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, etc. Lot’s of time to experience La Dolce Vita!

With its lyrical landscapes, world-class art and a superb cucina contadina (farmer’s kitchen), the Tuscan experience is perfectly in symbiosis with the land.  Tuscany has a timeless familiarity with its iconic Florentine cathedral dome, gently rolling hills dipped in soft morning mist and sculptural cypress alleys.  Golden wheat fields, silver olive groves and pea-green vineyards marching in sharp terraced rows on hillsides form a graceful prelude to soul-soaring medieval hilltop villages.
