Dreaming to Wake Up: Engaging Your Unconscious in the Spirit of Inquiry

About This Event

The path of Buddhist practice is one of intimacy with every aspect of our experience. It is an unreserved immersion into every detail of our lives that acknowledges that anything we encounter, if taken up in a spirit of inquiry and openness, can reveal to us our intrinsic wisdom. This appreciation of the riches available to us includes the uncanny realm of our dreams, as Freud referred to them. Our dreams offer a window into dimensions and enfoldments of our body and mind that are not otherwise accessible to us.

      not my cup of tea

Did a month long retreat here. Was not impressed. They promote themselves as authentic and also environmental. I saw pressure treated wood being burned, wet lands being damaged, and a blatent disregard for the precepts with alot of verbal abuse directed at people who dared to question the morality of any questionable activity. Ive been to buddhist monasteries befor and always found the monks to be compassionate and humble. Arrogence was rampant here. Just my experience...
