About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Has your asana practice plateaued? Do you sense there's more to yoga than physical fitness? Have you ever wondered what incredible experience could hold a yogi still in meditation for hours, even days?  Yoga was actually never for the body, but through the body for realization.  The mystical aspects of yoga asana are the most rewarding, and are why the yogis originally practiced them, but these aspects have not yet been grasped by market yoga. Come to an authentic home of living yoga and learn master keys to unlocking the mystical experiences and boons of yoga asanas.

Whether you are completely new to yoga or have been teaching for 60 years, this weekend will touch and empower your spirit.
Participants will:

Receive master keys to the practice of yoga asana.
Receive initiation into a special sequence of 10-yoga asanas that represents a complete worship of Divine Mother, one that gifts spiritual evolution and physical and mental well-being.
Learn proper pronunciation and use of sacred mantras for removing obstacles, knowledge, protection, healing, and enlightenment.
Share in the good company of fellow seekers and have your questions answered in satsang.

Testimonials:
When Darin brings this class to the ashram, it unfolds like a prayer and becomes a spiritual journey.  – Lakshmi Landa, Director Shanti Yoga Ashram, Bethesda MD
Darin provides for me my favorite yoga class out of all the yoga I’ve ever experienced.  I feel a deep presence of the all embracing Divine, and it’s so fun!  I feel so grateful and blessed to share in this practice.  It makes me feel ONE.  – Barbara Lakshmi Carpenter, 87, Founder of the Washington DC “Network of Light”
Darin does not just teach yoga, he embodies it. The ancient wisdom of the rishis has been imparted to him, and years of dedicated practice have refined his expertise as a teacher, yoga therapist, and philosopher. He adeptly conveys knowledge to students of all levels with clarity, compassion, authenticity, and integrity. It is healing to be in his presence, and a gift to study with him. He is a yogi for our time. Ann Thomas, MA, C-IAYT, ERYT 500, Advanced Iyengar Certification over 20 years
Darin is a very helpful, humble person.  He has helped me through some aches and pains with utmost consideration.  I look forward to his yoga classes. They are spiritually oriented and make me feel refreshed.  A very considerate person, both his online and in- person classes make me feel energized.  Please do try one of his classes. You will get hooked. Most appealing is his respectful loving nature - this makes his yoga classes unique and special.
