About this Retreat
Rafael Solari is a facilitator of ceremonial and somatic healing practices whose path has been shaped through years of immersion in traditional plant medicine lineages across South America.
Originally from Brazil, he spent extensive time living in Ecuador and traveling through regions of the Amazon, where he learned through Shipibo-influenced ceremonial traditions and indigenous wisdom keepers. These experiences deeply informed his understanding of plant medicine, sound, energy work, and the importance of safe, respectful ceremonial space.
His work today weaves together ancestral knowledge with modern embodiment practices, including breathwork, somatic healing, aquatic somatic practices, and aquatic healing experiences. Through water-based and land-based modalities, he supports deep nervous system regulation, emotional release, and reconnection to the body’s natural intelligence.
Rafael’s approach is rooted in humility, presence, and responsibility — prioritizing safety, integration, and authentic inner transformation over intensity or spectacle.
Each retreat he facilitates is designed as a structured journey into awareness, nature connection, and emotional realignment, supporting participants to return to balance, clarity, and embodied presence in daily life.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 1 — Alcohol Addiction
“I came here after 12 years of alcohol dependency. I had tried everything — therapy, AA, detox programs — but nothing touched the root like this.
The Iboga experience showed me my life with brutal honesty, but also with compassion. I saw exactly where my patterns began and why I kept repeating them.
The team held me in a way I’ve never experienced before — safe, present, and deeply professional.
It’s been 4 months now, and I haven’t had a single drink. But more importantly, I don’t want to.
This wasn’t just healing. It was a reset of my entire being.”
— Daniel R., UK
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 2 — Opioid Addiction
“I arrived completely broken from years of opioid use. I was scared, physically weak, and mentally exhausted.
The screening process alone made me feel like I was finally in safe hands — they take this work seriously.
The Iboga journey was intense beyond words, but it removed my withdrawal almost completely. That alone felt like a miracle.
What stayed with me the most was the integration. They didn’t just ‘give the medicine and send me home’ — they guided me step by step in rebuilding my life.
6 months clean today. This place saved my life.”
— Marcus L., Germany
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 3 — Cocaine & Behavioral Addiction
“I struggled with cocaine and compulsive behaviors for years. On the outside, my life looked successful, but inside I was completely out of control.
Iboga showed me the truth I was avoiding.
Not in a harsh way — but in a way that made it impossible to lie to myself anymore.
The ocean, the silence, the structure of the retreat… everything is designed to support deep change.
This is not a luxury escape. This is real work. And if you’re ready for it, it will change everything.”
— Sofia M., Portugal
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 4 — Relapse After Rehab
“I had already been to rehab twice and relapsed both times. I was losing hope.
What’s different here is that they don’t treat addiction as just a surface problem. They go deeper — into the nervous system, trauma, and identity.
The Iboga experience was the most intense thing I’ve ever gone through, but also the most meaningful.
For the first time, I feel like I understand myself.
And that changed everything.”
— James T., Ireland
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 5 — Emotional Dependency & Addiction
“My addiction wasn’t just substances — it was people, validation, and emotional chaos.
Iboga took me into the core of my patterns. I saw how I was abandoning myself over and over again.
The facilitators were incredibly grounded and supportive. No ego, no fluff — just real presence.
I left with clarity, strength, and something I hadn’t felt in years: self-respect.”
— Elena V., Spain
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 6 — Short & Powerful (Conversion Booster)
“I came addicted. I left clear.
No cravings. No confusion. Just truth.”
— Alex K., Netherlands
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 7 — Safety-Focused (Builds Trust)
“I was honestly afraid of Iboga before coming.
But the level of care here is on another level — medical checks, constant supervision, and a team that truly knows what they’re doing.
I felt safe the entire time, even during the most intense moments.
If you’re considering this, safety is everything — and they take it seriously.”
— Nina S., France
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 8 — Transformation Identity Shift
“This wasn’t about quitting a substance.
This was about becoming someone who no longer needs it.
That’s the real difference.”
— Rafael D., Brazil
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 9 — 3-Month Integration Reflection
“3 months later, I can say this:
Iboga opened the door.
But the integration they provided helped me walk through it.
That’s why this worked.”
— Thomas W., UK
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review 10 — High-End Client Tone
“I’ve invested in many healing modalities around the world.
Nothing comes close to the depth, precision, and integrity of this work.
This is not wellness tourism. This is true transformation.”
— Laura G., Switzerland
⚖️ Risk Transparency & Safety Information
Iboga is one of the most powerful and complex plant medicines in the world.
It is not a wellness experience — it is a high-intensity intervention that requires responsibility, preparation, and proper screening.
At Kurandero Temple, we operate with a safety-first, full transparency approach, so you can make an informed and grounded decision.
⚠️ Known Risks of Iboga
Iboga (from Tabernanthe iboga) carries real risks, particularly when not properly screened or supervised.
Potential risks include:
Cardiac complications (including irregular heart rhythm)
Prolonged physical stress and fatigue
Nausea, vomiting, and loss of coordination
Psychological intensity (fear, emotional release, confronting past trauma)
Rare but serious adverse events when contraindications are ignored
👉 This is why medical screening and professional supervision are non-negotiable.
🛡️ How We Reduce Risk
We implement strict safety protocols:
Pre-retreat medical screening & ECG requirement
Medication and contraindication checks
Small group size (high level of supervision)
Continuous monitoring during the Iboga experience
Controlled environment with minimal external stimulation
Structured preparation and integration support
⚠️ Individuals who do not meet safety criteria are not accepted.
❌ Who Should NOT Take Iboga
Iboga is not suitable for everyone.
You will not be accepted if you have:
Heart conditions or abnormal ECG
History of serious cardiovascular issues
Certain psychiatric conditions (e.g. psychosis, bipolar disorder)
Use of contraindicated medications (certain antidepressants, stimulants, etc.)
Unstable physical or mental health conditions
All cases are individually reviewed.
🧠 Psychological Intensity
Iboga is often described as a “waking dream” or deep introspective state.
You may experience:
A full life review
Confrontation with past trauma
Emotional intensity and vulnerability
Insights that challenge your current identity
This is not always comfortable — but it is often where transformation begins.
