-Jose is the driving force behind the ecosystem in our garden, where plants, animals, soil, and water work together and influence one another. It is a whole of living and non-living elements that are interdependent and together form a healthy and resilient system.
-He designed the solar panel system so that our house can operate independently and we live completely off-grid with our water well and without connection to a grid.

Do you need a well-deserved break to relax and unwind? During this retreat, you'll be taken on a profound and healing journey filled with rituals, breathwork, sound bath healing, movement, and a connection with your heart, body, mind, and soul. Imagine five days of complete relaxation in an eco-friendly home, completely disconnected from the daily grind, to fully recharge your mind, body, and soul.
Most retreat activities take place in the yurt or tipi at Eco-Casa Alegria y Luna, led by Tuhinga Healing Arts Yoga Retreat or guest instructors. The accommodation, the B&B Casa Alegria y Luna, and the retreat center, Tuhinga Healing Arts, are located at the same address.
The team helps you create a warm and supportive atmosphere together. The house accommodates up to six guests, who stay in the beautiful rooms – La Luna, Adiva, or Alegría – each with a private bathroom.
Meals are prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients, and vegetarian and vegan dishes are available. Guests also have access to an outdoor kitchen where you can make tea or coffee; there is a small refrigerator and a minibar for personal use.
The house is shared with two friendly dogs and a cat, which contributes to the relaxed, homey atmosphere. During your stay, you can enjoy the swimming pool, the outdoor shower, and the sun loungers, perfect for resting and relaxing. They live off-grid: Eco-Casa Alegria y Luna features a solar energy system and a private well, providing reliable electricity and fresh water. Guests are invited to consciously enjoy these natural resources and thus contribute to a sustainable and harmonious environment without compromising on comfort.
In the garden, you will find an old stone circle, known as "The Era," which was traditionally used for processing corn and grain. From every angle, you can enjoy a beautiful view of olive groves and the surrounding mountains, inviting relaxation and connection with nature.
Tuhinga Healing Arts Yoga Retreat is fully self-sufficient with its own electricity and a water well. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer, and there are various terraces and pergolas where you can read a book in peace.
Instructions will be offered in English, Dutch, and / or Spanish.
