Tattvaa Yoga Shala offers New to Ashtanga 200 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Courses for those looking to establish the strong and thorough foundations of a sustainable Ashtanga yoga practice as well as to learn the necessary tools and confidence to teach. Though this course is open to all levels, it is designed for beginners who are new to Ashtanga yoga and those who wish to truly understand and experience the fundamentals of this ancient practice. Our training course includes the breakdown study and practice of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series, Pranayama, Meditation, Kriyas, and Alignment and Adjustment Workshop. Our training course will prepare you with all the tools and confidence you need to become a yoga teacher and will propel you forward on your personal yoga journey. The Tattvaa Yoga 200 Hour TTC will enliven your body and enlighten your mind and spirit with the knowledge and experience of yoga.
If you already have some experience with Ashtanga yoga, you may feel more challenged by taking our Primary Series 200 Hour Teacher Training or Primary 300 Hour First Series Teacher Training.
The New to Ashtanga Yoga 200 Hour courses generally run in the months of December - January and May - August. Please note that these dates are subject to change and refer to our schedule page for more up to date information.
The TTC Program is 8-12 hours a day. Below is the general day structure.
06:30 - 08:00 -- Pranayama/ Meditation / Mantra Chanting
08:30 - 10:15 -- Asana Practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Mysore Style or Led Class
10:30 - 12:00 -- Breakfast / Brunch / Free Time / Study Time
12:00 - 13:30 -- Yoga Principles / Philosophy / Yoga Sutra Lectures
14:00 - 15:00 -- Yoga Nidra Meditation / Rest Time / Free time / Refreshing time
15:00 - 16:00 -- Workshop / Study Time / Guest Lecturers
16:00 - 18:00 -- Asana practice / Art of Adjustment / Body Alignment
18:30 - 19:30 -- Dinner Time
19:30 - 20:30 -- Rest Time / Free Time / Study Time
20:30 - 21:30 -- Silence Meditation
21:30 - 06:00 -- Mauna / Silence
