Messaging chat helped me to best sort airports and hotels quickly. Follow-up has included information on best integrating the experience to get the most from the journey. I booked a 1 Day Private Psilocybin Ceremony in Amsterdam and Alan arrived to my flat. He took care of my needs at the time of the experience and provided a great guidance. Also the Zoom call conversation to integrate my experience into my life was very useful and helpful. My mind is now full of new ideas about old stuff, which never crossed my mind before. "I attended a retreat last month and it was a life changing experience. I’m still working to integrate what I experienced but it was profound beyond words. The other participant in the retreat was a kind soul and I was touched by what we shared together. They similarly also expressed having a profound and transformative experience. The first day, Renate and Martijn picked me up from the station and took me to the retreat centre. We went over what to expect and prepared for the session. I mentioned that I did a retreat before in a different country, but it didn’t have much of an effect on me. As a result, we decided to start off the first session with the maximum dose. During the session, I encountered strong feelings of feeling alone and abandoned — as a result, I called out for help, and they held my hand for an hour and placed a hand on my shoulder. I started to feel the warmth of the connection flood in, and it felt like my subconscious was receiving a software patch to help resolve those feelings that may have been present since childhood. I understand now what it would mean to have a bad trip. If it weren’t for guides like Renate and Martijn, I would’ve most likely ended up stuck in a dark place. In addition, I have a slight discomfort around the presence of cats in general, but as time went on I warmed up to Felix, the resident cat, and felt that he was watching out for me while helping me on my journey. The second day, I had a strong reaction to the medicine and was stuck in the WC for quite a while. Martijn kindly offered me a bucket in case I needed one, and I felt that one was required. At one point during the session, I was moving around quite a bit and Martijn offered some advice that helped me go deeper and let go of the energy that was trapped, which led to a truly profound experience that is difficult to capture in words. It became a recursive loop with a focus that led to a certain feeling of unity while the mind was quiet. On the third and final day, we had an integration session. They recommended books and talks to go over, and I am currently diving into them now, working on the integration. I feel you get out what you put into the retreat, and the more you are willing to experience darker parts that you may want to run away from, the more transformative it will be. The aftercare email and advice were key factors I feel that differentiate this retreat from the other one I went to in the past in a different country. Although the other retreat had interesting experiences, I feel that I wasn’t able to integrate them in daily life the same way I am integrating with this retreat. Writing this review several weeks after the retreat shows that I now experience permanent changes in key areas in my life and am working to integrate the other changes in a more permanent way. The food during the retreat was delicious and nutritious, I devoured everything that was offered and am grateful for every meal that we shared together. The music selection was perfect and even now I listen to the songs from time to time to help reactivate different experiences that I encountered. I’m grateful to Renate and Martijn (& Felix) as well as the other participant and would highly recommend this retreat for anyone looking for personal transformation and insight to better themselves and help create a better and kinder world."

"I signed up to this retreat last minute, not knowing totally what was involved & not knowing what I would get out of it... ...What I got was life changing. The whole team at Alegria have an incredible aura about them, creating a space where you can truly be yourself without being judged or worrying what people think (I was amazed at how many shields I had up). "This was my very first experience with any psychedelic substances, and Greg's facilitation of the process was an essential part of me feeling safe and trusting during the session.
