"As this was my first experience with Ayahuasca, I was quite nervous of the experience using plant medicine. Because I felt a strong "calling", my husband and I did an extensive amount of research to find the right retreat. The amenities of the tambo having showers and the views of the mountains while laying in the hammock allowed me to truly relax and find inner peace when not in ceremony. It opened me up to dealing with some really deep rooted childhood trauma and finding forgiveness and self love. "Before deciding on our Ayahuasca Retreat destination, we did a great deal of research on options in a variety of locations, including Peru, Costa Rica, and of course Colombia.
