"I felt that I could 100% trust Chandra and Sonia with the experience, and they are the only people I would go on this journey with. They are caring, compassionate, good listeners, and experts in plant medicines. Chandra made sure that every person on the retreat had their needs met. The best part was the focus on integration and the integration talks really made this a sustainable experience and provided me with the tools to implement the learning in my practical life. The integration focus is unique to this specific retreat, as other retreats do not focus on the integration and post-retreat experiences. Chandra and Sonia made sure we weren’t traumatized and offered ayahuasca doses that fit with our experiences and histories. For example, I learned about breathing techniques, yoga, healing modalities, food, meditation, and aromatherapy. SINCE THE RETREAT, I HAVE NO MORE FIBROMYALGIA PAIN, so if you have chronic conditions relating to trauma, this may be the medicine to try. The accommodation was beautiful. The food was in accordance with the requirements of the ayahuasca diet and there were a variety of options. I went to the retreat looking for freedom from pain, and I came back with so much more – a support group, a family, a toolkit of resources for life, and a newfound perspective. "Thank you, thank you, thank you so so much to Chandra and her team of facilitators! It was my first time with Ayahuasca and San Pedro and I could not have a better one. I am so glad I found and booked it with Prana Foundation. It was a gift to do it with them. A few things you need to know: do not get hesitant with the different name, Casa Lotus is actually one of the venues but the organisation is called Prana Foundation run by Chandra and her team of facilitators (pranafoundation.org). I did it in Portugal (but they organised it a lot in Spain before) and now in Mexico. Their English is excellent. The retreat offers extra such as San Pedro (with a Shaman from Peru), the Bufo, the frog and massages as well as magnet therapies. The pick-up in central Lisbon was easy. The food was lovely. The villa was beautiful. The group was amazing and I made friendships out of it! Chandra was very professional, knowledgable, caring, supportive and definitely the ONE to go to for a first time or for further Ayahuasca retreats. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much again. " I was never contacted and sent 3 emails showed up to the place day of. The Lotus sign was there no one was there. No phone number no way to contact other than email they never answered. I spent hundreds of dollars to stay in Lisbon and Uber and did many things to make this happen only to be very disappointed. Response from Casa Lotus - Lotus House: "We are sorry you had this experience. We asked Retreat Guru to return the service fee you paid for booking the retreat. As for the travel expenses, we clearly state that one should not make travel arrangements unless they have a confirmation from us that they can attend the ceremony. Our intake process has several steps, and there has obviously been a communication issue during your booking process. Immediately after finding out about your booking, which was made without our consent for an already full retreat, we sent you an email explaining the situation. We have our email clearly visible on this page, however we did not get any messages from you on our email. We also want to note that the first message we got from you was on Retreat Guru on the day of the ceremony, when it was not possible for us to reply. Our website is also public and we never had an issue before where someone who wanted to reach us - couldn’t. Again, we are indeed sorry for you bad experience, but we want to note that we never received any payment from you, and that had you contacted us before the retreat, this could have been avoided. ""
