"Overall, the sesshin was very good. The dharma talks and instructions during sitting were extremely beneficial for me. I chose to participate online due to health concerns. Some aspects of online participation could be enhanced. Unless speakers were using a microphone I could not hear the instructions for what was happening. At times it was quite confusing. Also, it would have been preferable to receive individual sanzen just as in person participants do. "
"This spot is a absolute must for a nature rejuvenation experience. "
"If you are looking for a vacation that brings your peace and allows you to return with more energy this is the place to visit. The amenities, nature, food, and community are all the things you need to feed your soul. ChoZen is the new medicine we need to heal from the stress and technologies of modern society. I am so grateful to have experienced this place and hope many more people have the same opportunity. "
"I’ve just attended a weekend retreat with my husband and 2 kids and it was just incredible! The location is gorgeous, the nature was healing and the hosts so loving and attentive. The other guests as well were just so in tune with us. Each one of us felt amazing. This is not simply an experience I recommend, this is an experience you shall not miss!!! 🤍✨"

"Ratna Ling is a beautiful serene space for you to connect with yourself and others. The cabins are comfortable and spacious and surrounded by beautiful forest. Beautiful classrooms spaces to learn. The food was delicious and healthy. Enjoyed our yoga retreat and the meditation class very much. "
"The combination of the caring, experienced staff and the natural beauty of the Oregon ranch location provided the perfect reset button. It feels like a new beginning for me. I arrived feeling like “time was running out” in my life…Halfway through the retreat I felt as if I had nothing but time to savor all the wonderful things life has to offer. Biggest contributor to this for me was the educated facilitators who prepared us for the journey starting at signup and continuing to this day. Since I have been home the communication and support from the staff continues and the love and support amongst our retreat group grows. "
"I understand that this Inner critic retreat/workshop has been recently re-worked/updated and was, I believe, the first time offered in this new iteration. I found the content very good and the co-leaders were committed to supporting the group towards helpful outcomes! It was quite worthwhile and I plan on reviewing/doing further work. It brings a deeper understanding of my mind in new insightful ways. I loved the musical aspects and the different chanting we did. I appreciated hearing from others. I do have a few suggestions:
Group exercises: Have a worksheet handout for each exercise listing the given questions w/room to write responses, so people can use this to help prompt their inquiry and also have something to review or use further afterwards.
Tools and Resources: have a take-away handout for terms written on the whiteboard during this presentation/discussion, with brief, basic definitions for each, and possibly also 1-3 references to websites or books, or other leads to seek further info post-workshop.
The co-leaders sometimes spoke too fast for me in delivering new content.

"This is the first time I have engaged in a psychedelic journey, so was both excited and a little apprehensive going in.
I cannot speak highly enough regarding the skill and compassionate warmth of the staff. Aaron is a wise man and good leader with a heartfelt presence. Caroline exudes grace, laughter, and a level of kindness that is radiant. They are a great team, and complement each other perfectly - yin and yang. Both were fully present and there for me and the other participants, with hugs that I will feel for the rest of my life. I spent less time with JP, but felt the same sense of goodness and warmth emanating from him.
The setting is absolutely gorgeous - which can be tasted from the photos. The ranch is on sacred native American ground, and the energy was palpably reverent, contemplative, and healing.
Ingrid's gourmet cooking was delectable, and sharing meals together as a group felt so wholesome and familial. I can still taste the carrot curry and fresh bread.
Frankly, I can't imagine how this retreat could have been better. It exceeded all expectations, and was such a meaningful growth experience. And I am so glad/grateful to have done this with a group of comrades/fellow travelers/friends. Felt that we were all looking for the same thing, and found it - together."
"If a person would like to experience the peace which passes all understanding or the beauty of silence, then they should visit Ratna Ling! The subtle healing ❤️🩹 that occurs among the pine trees in between turkey visits is nearly indescribable. If you visit once, you will visit again…Its truly a very special place. Staff is warm and friendly. The food is always delicious and nutritious. What a blessing it is to be at Ratna Ling…."
"Our long weekend at Ratna Ling was a divine experience. Blessings abound in many forms at this wonderful site: natural beauty and peace and silent simplicity! The kind welcoming of staff makes it the perfect setting for healing on many levels. We’re so very grateful for being able to repeatedly visit Ratna Ling~🙏🏻✨"
"Roman is an authority on the global indigenous lineages that he has studied from Tibet to the Peruvian Amazon having walked this path of healing and spiritual exploration for over 20 years. A true Ayahuscaro, Roman's methods involve all aspects of the process beyond simply working with the plant medicine. There is no one who I would rather sit with and cannot recommend him enough."
"We so enjoyed the peace and quiet at Ratna Ling. We felt safe and held, truly able to relax and restore, by the land, the generous hosts, the beautiful buildings the delicious menu and the magnificent trees. The experience is still expanding within me. Worth every penny even on a tight budget. Much gratitude to all who contributed to creating the experience."
"My third return to Ratna Ling. The entire weekend was perfect. Nikki Estrada led an educational and meditative yoga retreat."
"The variety of activities during the recent retreat were wonderful! We experienced the sacred process of collecting gifts of love offered at the Forest over the past years and honoring them together. We cooked, ate, participated in a tea ceremony and had meditations daily. All the activities were optional, but too good to miss any of them. A joyous time full of rest and community at its finest."
"Dariece Warren made the yoga/meditation retreat a most memorable one for me. She is so excellent at making people at ease with "where they are"in their yoga practice. I appreciate her teaching method so very much."
"The yoga and meditation retreat on above dates was a wonderful experience. Dariece Warren was our leader and she did a remarkable job guiding the group through the yoga vinyasa poses and the guided meditation. The center was lovely surrounded by a redwood forest. The cottages very clean and pleasant. The food delicious. A wonderful experience for me."
"I went to Ratna Ling for the first time this past weekend and it was AMAZING! The location is remote enough for silence and the cabins close enough to get a sense of community in nature. The cabin was beautiful, had everything I needed for creature comforts and incredibly clean. The meals were nourishing, delicious and the price of the entire package (yoga, lodging, meals) was fair. The instructors and staff were wonderful too. I'm looking forward to my next visit."
"My first time to this amazing spiritual vortex was met with no expectations but to ground in my yoga practice. What I experienced was much more than words can explain as the setting the staff the accommodations the food and of course the company all worked together to gift me with an enlightened transformation to peace love and joy. Thank you….Namaste🙏🏻"
"I've taken many yoga classes at Dariece's studio in Vallejo and cannot say enough good things about her instruction. Her yoga style, voice, guided meditation and selected readings are insightful and replenishing. I was so happy to attend her guided retreat at Ratna Ling. I went back to my day life with gratitude and ease. "
"I loved my time at Ratna Ling. I experienced beauty, rest, quiet, excellent sessions and real friendliness. It was like going to a different, deeply refreshing world and coming home deeply renewed. Thank you to the wonderful community at Ratna Ling for this lovely place."
"I participated in the Spring Renew and Refresh retreat in Ratna Ling this past weekend. Ratna Ling is one of the most beautiful retreat locations you can imagine. The buildings are gorgeous, the cabins spectacular and the staff/volunteers are so friendly and accommodating.
My instructor, Dariece Warren is absolutely the best. Her technique, yoga expertise and calm voice and demeanor make her one of the best instructors I have ever had. This is my third time attending one her retreats and need I say, I’m hooked.
I highly recommend Ratna Ling and Dariece, particularly if you need to unwind and refresh from it all. "
"its out of the way and will take longer than you think to get here.
and once here the setting, the dharma the beauty are amazing."
"stunning, peaceful and inspiring grounds. minimalist, extra clean, and beautiful cabins
fantastic food"
"Patricia Becker is an expert at teaching modifications for the yoga poses. She made me feel comfortable as a beginner. My body feels stronger and my back is much better too."
"My daughter and I tried the Aging with Grace Yoga retreat for the first time. Patricia Becker made us feel very comfortable being new to yoga. My back and body feel much healthier. "
"I have been to Ratna Ling twice now, both times for a yoga retreat with Patricia Becker.
It is a beautiful setting, among tall trees on acres and acres of open land, close to the ocean. The air is spectacular, the food is outrageous, the cottages are beautiful, clean, welcoming. I didn't want to leave.
Patricia's yoga workshop was perfection, a wonderful weekend of yoga and community building. Patricia is a delight - kind, gracious, beautiful, and fun.
If you have an opportunity to visit Ratna Ling I would highly recommend it."
"I loved my time not only with Patricia but meeting all the wonderful and interesting people in attendance. It was a serene and calming three days and I was able to leave my busy life behind and enjoy the quiet, The food was great, my cabin and my roommate were a great fit. I can only say I loved my time and Patricia and I hope to be able to return sometime in the future."
"When I booked my reservations I asked to be in a room close to the lodge due to a recent surgery. Someone from Ratna Ling called me and said I would be in a room right across from the lodge with very little walking. When I arrived I wasn't given the close room. But had to walk a distance to the lodge.
On your form I wrote down several food allergies. When checked in I asked about that, she confirmed they had them. I later found out no one had told the chef. I had to keep asking what was in the food. Every time I asked what is in the food, the staff was rude to me. This really made me feel uncomfortable.
I was there 2 years ago, and my food allergy experience was much different. The staff was concerned that I was eating what I could.
I'll have to reconsider if I'll come back. "
