Obstacle Advice

Advice on keeping your team connected long-distance

Obstacle

Team Development: Our facilitators, marketing, sales, and administration people are all living in different places, so the feeling of connectedness between our staff members isn’t as strong as I would like it to be.

Advice

In the year to come we plan on having a retreat together with our staff so we can all be in the same physical location for 4-5 days. I think it is also a good idea to have monthly check-ins via Skype with the group to keep our communications more tight among everyone.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Having our beautiful baby boy 3 months ago gave me a new perspective and outlook moving forward. Liana

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
