Advice on getting good engagement during an eCourse
When you run an online course, sometimes you don’t get a sense of who is on the call, or how the topic is resonating with each participant. The positive aspect is that even shy people can attend and not feel they need to chime in if they aren’t comfortable, but the downside is that as a facilitator you can’t read facial expressions or gauge how the information is landing.
We like to have individual breakout sessions between the group calls, which is basically a one-on-one call with the participant and a coach. That way we can touch base directly and make sure that each person is progressing through the program and getting the support that they need.
