Advice on changing negative perceptions about your property
When I took over the Singanawa Lodge it was in bad shape. The previous owners had let it get very run down, and I would say it was even “dilapidated”, and tour operators who used to bring guests here were wary of ever coming back.
We do a lot of “fam” (familiarization) trips for tour guides and other key people in our industry to host them for free and show them the new and improved Singanawa Lodge. Everyone is able to see the level of professionalism we bring to our work here, the improved accommodations, the new art museum, and the care we have for all of our guests.
