Lidith Ramos

About The Teacher

Yoga instructor with 12 years of experience registered in Yoga Alliance, E-RYT 200 and YACEP. She started with a Vinyasa practice evolving eventually towards Forrest Yoga. Trained directly by Ana Forrest she has spent 11 years sharing this practice and is currently the only Forrest Yoga instructor in Puerto Rico. She has assisted Ana Forrest in yoga workshops in the United States and has worked closely with her mentor, Heidi Sormaz, assisting her in advanced trainings for yoga instructors.

After two 200-hr yoga Teacher Trainings, a children’s yoga training and multiple yoga workshops, she currently works with people of all ages. With children in special events, with seniors and people with disabilities in chair yoga classes, and with a wide range of yogis in her regular group classes. She also offers private classes in which Yoga Nidra is added to the menu. She has taught Forrest Yoga workshops in Latin America. Ramos also collaborates with major nationwide newspapers in yoga related articles. It was her bottomless curiosity in the human body that led her to become a Massage Therapist. In her free time she enjoys cross-training. Her classes are mixed-level, fun, and focused on alignment. Ramos wants her students to connect with feeling through intense pose sequences using breath as the vehicle to ride the wave of intensity. She also hopes for her students to discover new horizons within themselves.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is to find some very much needed solace away from the stress of raising 4 children, working (as a dietitian) and trying to get my private nutrition counseling practice launched. I am a registered yoga instructor and have practiced for over 10 yrs, and have always dreamed of taking a yoga retreat just for my own inner well being. Linda

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
