About The Teacher

Hi! I'm Josie, a food mindset coach and a cook. Through my company, The Mindful Cook, I coach people to nurture a better relationship with food and to transform their eating mindset by sharing my passion for cooking and practical techniques that help you to shift your food mindset. The Mindful Cook promotes the principle that we should eat to have the energy to enjoy our lives with a mind that is clear of any negative feelings such as guilt, obsession or fear that we might be associating to food. I run two day residential food retreats, create delicious recipes and offer 1:1 coaching, all with the aim of helping people to nurture a happier relationship with food, be kinder to themselves and learn that healthy food really can be interesting and indulgent!

I have a diploma in Eating Psychology, accredited by the CMA, am a Silver member of the International Alliance of Holistic Practitioners and am study applied nutrition with the Sano School of Culinary Medicine.

For me, it’s all about balance, ditching diets in favour of nutrition and creating dishes that are good for the body and mind.
