Kevin Mosley

About us

Kevin Mosley grew up in Merritt, British Columbia where at an early age, began writing and directing his own short films. After attending Simon Fraser University in the film and theatre program, Kevin began working as a set decorator and art director on independent features and music videos.

But it was screenwriting that was Kevin’s passion and he began to pursue a professional career. His first feature film ‘Savage Island’, produced and directed by Jeffery Lando (Syfy’s ‘Decoys 2’, ‘House of Bones’, ‘Haunted High’) went on to win seven awards, including four best picture awards at film festivals across the U.S. and Europe. It was then acquired by Shoreline Entertainment for U.S. and international
distribution and established Kevin as an “up and coming new talent in the horror genre.” Fangoria Magazine.

Since ‘Savage Island’, Kevin has been developing and writing features for numerous producers and directors. His latest film, the critically acclaimed thriller ‘Suspension’ was recently part of After Dark’s ‘8 Films To Die For’ theatrical release in the U.S. with DVD and digital distribution by 20th Century Fox. His current film, ‘Puppet Killer’, a horror comedy starring Aleks Paunovic (War of the Planet of the Apes, Van Helsing) and Richard Harmon (The 100) is scheduled to be released in 2019.

Other projects that Kevin is busy developing include his thriller, ‘The Beckoning’, and his comedy, ‘A Redneck Christmas’.

Kevin can be found hanging out in Vancouver B.C. where he is an active member of the film community.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months. Keeping our fingers crossed! Jaimee and Dan
