Bill Amos

About us

Bill a native of Northern New Jersey has been practicing yoga since 2007. His love of kayaking kept him in cramped conditions for hours and to overcome his tingly toes and tight hamstrings he took the advice of a friend and tried yoga.  After years of enjoying the physical aspects of yoga the asanas started taking on a different meaning. Looking to understand the changes the practice brought on he enrolled in Ever Yoga’s 200 hour RYT teacher training program at Highland Yoga Studio in Butler, NJ we’re he graduated and started teaching in 2014. Since then he has taken additional training in Yin Yoga, Trauma informed Yoga, Prison Yoga Project, and is currently enrolled in Ever Yoga's 300 RYT.  Bill has also created a Yoga PTSD Support group called Brave Yoga. He teaches daily Hatha and Vinyasa classes at multiple studios. You can find out more about Bill at BillAmosYoga.com.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Because I sometimes work up to 16 hours a day, and need time to stop and breathe. Mary
