Nat Larkin, started practicing yoga around 2006 following a need to keep her body happy and healthy after being diagnosed with Crohns disease years earlier. She committed to a regular ashtanga practice around 2009 after finding her teacher in the form of Donna Southwell, authorised level 2 from KPJAYI. In 2011 she studied under Brian Cooper (Union Yoga/Yoga Alliance UK) and learnt how to observe the body, give hands on adjustments and guide students to follow a committed yoga practice.
Currently Nat continues to transform and develop her practice under the guidance of David Robson (KPJAYI level 2), whom she had the fortuity to meet whilst residing in Europe. She also continues her development with her original teacher Donna Southwell upon her return visits to the UK and through her annual retreats to Bulgaria - keeping the living tradition of ashtanga alive with the relationship between teacher and student at the epicentre. Nat also plans to eventually visit the birth place of Astanga, Mysore, KPJAYI, India in 2018, since taking the decision to leave the 9-5 routine and focus on her love and passion. Nat is currently based in Veliko Tărnovo, where she is loving introducing the ashtanga yoga method to a brand new audience and spending her time enjoying the laid back haven of Bulgaria
