Kaila grew up in the mountains of the Slocan Valley, exploring the abundant wildness as a youth. She has always felt connected to nature and drawn to the calmness and tranquility of the elements. Kaila's wild and free spirit led her to love adventure sports growing up. Her natural athletic ability taught her many lessons at a young age including the importance of optimal health and wellness and self care. Kaila lives her life like "the athlete" in all areas of her life, pushing herself has always been the focus. During the last few years through participating in CrossFit and performance training Kaila's path lead her to discover hot yoga as a way to calm the mind and nurture the physical body to help release built up tension vs. beating it up all the time on the trails or in the gym. Kaila took her YHot 200-Hour Teacher Training with Kristin Campbell and Coco Fanaldi of The YYoga Teachers College in Vancouver. A transformative journey involving the study of physical, mental and spiritual alignment. Now taking the seat tacking hot yoga has become second nature. Kaila loves to share her passion and knowledge of alignment based hot yoga. She invites you to learn, grow and expand alongside her in an informative, refreshing and open practice!
