About The Teacher

Agni Larsen is a RYT who has taught yoga for the last 13 years and is now delighted to offer classes in the Victoria, Canada area. She has had the joy to train and practice with teachers in Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Sun Power Yoga, Universal Yoga, Yogayantra and Shrivasta yoga methods and the pleasure to learn and teach around the world, from Europe to North America to Asia. 

Agni incorporates vinyasa, hatha, pranayama, meditation, music, ecstatic dance and her extensive knowledge of Chinese Medicine into her teachings. Agni lived, studied and practiced in Boudhanath, Kathmandu for 4 years and holds a BA in Buddhist Studies and Himalayan Language from the Rangjung Yeshe Institute, Kathmandu University. She has traveled extensively through Europe, Asia and Israel, teaching Akela Yoga ‘Metamorphosis’ workshops: teaming up with musicians to take participants through a spectacular transformation. Beginners and advanced students alike are welcomed into her class.  

Agni is also a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and runs her own holistic health practice with her husband offering acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, herbal medicine, massage and yoga through Twin Cedars Holistic Health in Victoria, BC.
