I attended my first yoga class in a school gym over 20 years ago. I remember rolling up and down on my spine and thought this is fun! It was the beginning of a love affair with yoga. Since then I have experienced the teachings of many wonderful teachers; finding inspiration from many different styles of yoga, including Hatha, Kundalini, Vinyasa, Ahstanga and Yin. In 2009, I completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Welkin YogaLife in Classical Yoga.
Before moving to Nelson two years ago, I managed my own business as a personal trainer and yoga teacher; teaching Children’s yoga in an after school program, Hatha yoga in a class setting as well as personal yoga.
I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, and yoga has helped me find the find strength, balance and calm in my life.
My goal is to teach and share the many gifts of yoga as generously and respectfully as I have been taught.
