Kate's yoga practice began just 4 short years ago at the time she started an equally large journey of sobriety. The practice served as a beautiful adjunct to her already blossoming personal development, teaching her discipline, self-love and the power of breath in movement and stillness. Yoga became a driving force in her life, empowering her to feel it all - the good, the bad, the ugly - accept it, and keep moving. What happened on her mat, directly related to life off the mat and in recognizing that, it offered Kate a much happier, peaceful way of being. This radical transformation is what brought Kate to teach this practice. She thought if she could give others this gift that changed her perspective and her way of being as a human, then that would be her life's work: to help people become the best versions of themselves.
Kate obtained her 200hr Power Yoga certification in April of 2017 and shortly after that studied under world renown, Nikki Myers, gaining her Y12SR (Yoga & 12-Step Recovery) certification.
Accept & Release will weave together the tools Kate has learned in her journey both on and off the mat. Through group discussion and self reflection, participants will come to identify restraining and harming self behaviors, work toward accepting them, and finally release them out into the universe. Kate will guide you toward this freedom of letting go of character "isms" that no longer serve your highest self.
After 5 days of yoga, meditation, radical self reflection, and some outdoor hiking, leave feeling empowered in your new way of being - free, relaxed and living as your best self.
