Jennifer Stone

About us

Jennifer Stone is a Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain and Stress Management Counsellor. Her academic career has been devoted to the study of Psychology, both individually and at the organizational level. Receiving a BA in Psychology from McGill University in 2005, and an MSc in Organization and Social Psychology at the London School of Economics, graduating in 2007. After graduation, Jennifer worked in the corporate world for 10 years. Jennifer enthusiasm for mindfulness comes from her own discovery of being mindful. In 2012 she enrolled at the Center for Mindfulness for an MBSR course, which inspired her and led her towards professional training. Since then she has continued to learn at the University of Toronto for Mindfulness Studies and is currently a licensed Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM) facilitator through the University of Toronto Continuing Studies and with the NeuroNova Center. She currently facilitates both Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain Management course throughout the GTA and has a private stress and chronic pain counselling practice. Passionate about self-growth and personal development, Jennifer uses her natural empathetic and genuine approach to inspire her patients to live in the moment, practicing non-judgment, and incorporating consistent, daily meditation as a tool to manage physical and psychological symptoms and conditions.

Why Retreat?

Reconnecting with myself after a very crazy few months with a new baby! Just having that feeling of being grounded again. But also having an opportunity to connect with new amazing people. Retreat Guru's Vision
