About The Teacher

I have been passionate about yoga since 1972 when I attended my first class at the age of 18. I am now a wife, mother of 3 beautiful daughters, grandmother of 5 amazing grandchildren, yoga instructor and studio owner of Harmony Yoga, and Director of a RYT 200 Teacher Training in Spokane, Washington. My teaching embraces an alignment-oriented style of yoga, mostly inspired by the Iyengar and Anusara traditions. I love to weave the philosophy of yoga into each class, integrating the wisdom of yoga within the practice of asana. Teaching mindful awareness within each pose, I give students time to find, align and refine each asana, so as to minimize the chance of injury and maximize the benefit. Bringing students back to the breath, and to quiet mind, I invite unity consciousness both on and off the mat.
