Lila Li is a travelling yoga teacher, life coach and sound healer who is a leading activist for women’s empowerment and well-being. Following her vision for planetary wellness, she’s dedicated the past 12 years to living in communities around the world while studying ancient traditions and regenerative living. Through embodied learning Lila has witnessed the impact of positive action and engaged activism for global change.
On her path of self-transformation, Lila has immersed herself in working closely with the cacao plant, a heart opening medicine that she integrates into her daily practice and shares in sound and movement ceremonies. In retreats and offerings, Lila weaves together a unique combination of healing modalities, drawing on her passion for yoga and sacred sound as a spiritual path.
In alignment with her wish to be of service to all life, Lila has created One Woman’s Story, an online platform empowering women to free their voice, regain sovereignty of their bodies, and express their truth to inspire collective healing. As a continuation of this movement, Lila holds space for weekly Women’s Temple gatherings along with yoga and mindfulness workshops in Guatemala, Canada, Bali, India and Greece.
Lila is a founding member of Awakened Spirit Yoga and Folk Collective, a social project taking yoga off the mat and into communities to help support women’s cooperative and artisans around the globe. Connect with her at www.folkcollectiveshop.com and One Woman's Story.
