About us

About Janet: Somatic therapist, Yoga Teacher & Body Empowerment Coach

The truth of us is vibrant and whole - uniquely gifted, and brilliant. The Practice of Now uncovers and connects us to that truth, in order to manifest our most radiant selves. Through yoga, dance, or talk therapy, we consider Soma – the Soul Body – to be our greatest teacher and guide nto our wholeness.

Style of yoga taught:

Kripalu is a traditional hatha practice that emphasizes compassionate self-witnessing.  While the class itself may be slow or rigorous, each student is encouraged to look inward to determine his or her own level of engagement.  With attention to breath, loving postural cues and inspiring music, the practice becomes an empowering, life affirming meditation in motion.

Each class includes breath awareness and a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen and balance the body.  We end with a deep relaxation.

Each asana or flow is a way to engage in mindfulness , and to expand and practice Presence.

For experienced and brand new yogis alike – interested in cultivating a deeper, more holistic approach to the yoga experience.
