Growing up in Dallas, Kim was always an active youth, gravitating toward activities that required self-discipline and mind-body awareness. Kim felt a huge void when those activities came to a close when she graduated from UT in Austin in 2005. When she moved back to Dallas in 2006, she began to notice an increase in her anxiety, fatigue, and sleep disturbances. A friend encouraged her to try yoga and thought that it would be therapeutic and beneficial to her overall health and well-being. After Kim took her very first yoga class she was officially hooked on the ancient practice and the way it made her feel afterwards: physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Kim continued to maintain a daily practice for 10 years, and decided she wanted to dive deeper into the practice in order to share her love and passion for yoga with others.

Kim completed her 200hr teacher training program in June of 2016. In each of her classes, Kim creates an atmosphere where students feel supported and confident on their mat, no matter what their level of experience may be. Kimber is a world traveler and has been a part of Good Vibes Yoga Retreats since Day 1.
