Born in Greece, I grew up practicing yoga with my grandfather under olive trees and love to practice yoga in nature. I invite students to an inner exploration. The presence of breath and gentle movement creates an unhurried and natural unfolding of the ‘asana’ as the outcome of our moving /feeling energy. Meditation, breath and movement are not separate but different aspects of a deepening yoga experience that celebrates the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being. My teaching is influenced by Hatha, Ashtanga, Pilates and Somatics and I have a background in painting, dance and drama.
For the last 10 years I have been teaching yoga at several studios in London. Recently I have been travelling and leading yoga retreats in beautiful unspoiled places in Greece ,Thailand, and Turkey with the aim of sharing the benefits of the yoga practice all over the world.
